MMMM Ribs.

This is a super delicious (and spicy) Teriyaki rib recipe that I developed in my secret ninja laboratory. Yeah, I got one. No, you can’t see it. WARNING: These take time. It’s not for the impatient. There’s alot of marinading and slow cookin’ goin down. But trust me, it’s worth it.

Anyhow, on with the cookery!

Meat:
2.5 Lbs. Country Style Boneless Pork (This stuff is cheap and delicious!)

Marinade mix:
1 Cup Soy Sauce
1/2 Cup Sugar
1 TB Chili Garlic Sauce (This stuff!)
1 1/2 TB Crushed Ginger
1 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. onion powder
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1/2 tsp. sesame oil
Cornstarch & Water (Save this for later.. don’t add initially)

Garnish:
Couple stalks green onion sliced thin
Toasted Sesame Seeds

And always:
Good quality rice!

Instructions:
1. Mix the marinade spices and marinade the pork. This can be anywhere from 2 hours to overnight if you wish. I like overnight personally.
2. Preheat the oven to 350. Put pork and marinade in a casserole dish, seal with foil. Cook 2 hrs. Start your rice between now and half an hour before the ribs are done roasting.
3. Remove the ribs from the casserole dish, and reserve the marinade in a pan on the stove. Throw the ribs on a baking sheet covered in foil. You can also throw these on the BBQ instead. Just make sure it’s hot and ready (That’s what she said).
4. Set the oven to broil and throw the ribs in for about 5 minutes or so. in the meantime, heat the marinade to boiling.
5. Combine Cornstarch and little water. Dissolve the cornstarch, and slowly mix into the marinade until you get a nice thick sauce for the ribs.
6. Take Ribs out, slather with sauce. Garnish with Sesame Seeds and Green Onions. Serve with rice. Also, kill a pirate.
