This is my small batch Teriyaki. This is perfect with Beef, Poultry and Pineapple. MMM! It’s based off of the recipe I used at Gen Kai.
Ingredients:
4 Cups Chicken Broth
1 Cup Soy Sauce
1/3 Cup Brown Sugar
2/3 Cup White Sugar
1/2 Teaspoon Black Pepper (Optional, best for teriyaki steaks!)
Potato Starch (For thickening. Optional. NO OTHER KIND OF STARCH. If I find out you used other kinds, I will hunt you down and dispose of your pour soul in your sleep.)
DIRECTIONS:
1. So, bring the Chicken Broth and Soy sauce to a boil.
2. Add in the Brown and White sugar and the pepper.
3. Mix the potato starch with a very small amount of water, and stir in for desired thickness. Remember, as it cools, it will thicken more. So be careful. You can’t really un-add potato starch.
4. Pour over whatever you wanna eat. Chicken, Pork, Rice, Cereal, Rival Ninja Clan Members..
